Social determinants of health curriculum
The Center for Health Equity and Boston Medical Center collaborated on the development and implementation of robust, hospital-wide curriculum on Social Determinants of Health and Health Inequity.

Hospital-Wide SDH Orientation
As a result of the ongoing collaboration between CIR and BMC, this year’s interns participated in a Social Determinants of Health simulation/workshop in an effort to improve both the training and care received at the hospital.
This annual orientation includes a workshop on what's known as social determinants of health. It’s a recognition that where and how people live, their cultural or religious beliefs, their education and income — all these things affect health.
